Sneek Peek: You Don't Have to be a Doctor

 

One of the best things about working on Team Extra Life is the chance to interact with all of the inspiring gamers who play to help kids at their local Children's Miracle Network Hospital. It never ceases to amaze us how generous and dedicated the Extra Life community is. We're encouraged by all of the offers to help hospitalized kids from those of you playing, donating to your favorite team or spreading the word about this movement.

We were stoked when we got the call that two of our favorite gamers, Robert Bowling and Rick Malambri, wanted to help support Extra Life again this year. We thought we could put their talents to good use on the big screen and they generously and happily agreed.

Our staff, along with several amazing Extra Life super hero supporters and our stars--Rick and Robert--teamed up with CMN Hospitals member Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA). Through the magic of television we were able to shoot this video. Look for an appearance by real-life Miracle Child, Coleman. He is an incredible boy who loves video games and has experienced his own medical miracles after being on a Berlin Heart until he received his donor heart and a transplant.

And we wanted you guys, here on the blog, to see it first. We are officially launching it later this week but wanted our loyal blog readers and social media peeps to have the first look. We hope it helps you inspire your own network of friends, family and social media connections to help you help kids like Coleman through Extra Life.
